Biblical Wisdom for Intentional Parenting
In a culture where parenting advice changes with every scroll and soundbite, it’s easy to wonder:
Does Biblical parenting still matter today and is it even relevant?
Our answer? Absolutely.
In fact, it matters now more than ever and its principles are timeless.
That’s exactly what we’ll be unpacking in our Legacy Parenting Podcast. Our conversations will be both a reminder and a rallying cry—we don’t need to chase trends or mimic modern parenting models. We need to return to the timeless, unshakable truth of God’s Word.
Because the Bible doesn’t just offer parenting tips—it gives us foundational principles that anchor our families through every season.
So, what is principle-based parenting?
It’s parenting rooted in the unchanging character of God and the eternal truth of Scripture—not personal preference, peer pressure, or fear of falling behind.
It asks questions like:
What does God say about discipline, identity, and family roles?
How do we teach respect, responsibility, and repentance from a Biblical lens?
What seeds are we sowing—not just for today, but for the generations to come?
Principle-based parenting doesn’t promise perfect kids.
But it does build homes on a solid foundation (Matthew 7:24–25)—the kind that can withstand cultural storms, identity confusion, and shifting standards.
Why does this matter now?
Because our kids are growing up in a world that’s louder than ever—telling them who to be, how to live, and what to value.
But God’s Word is still the ultimate authority. And when we raise our children on His truth, we’re not just parenting—we’re building a legacy.
“The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.” – Isaiah 40:8
Let’s walk this out—together. In just a few days, we will officially launch Legacy Parenting and all that it brings with it. Our prayer is that it gives you the support and encouragement you need for your parenting journey.
We know parenting isn’t one-size-fits-all. Each child, each season, brings new questions and challenges. That’s why we want to hear from you.
Let’s keep anchoring our homes in truth, and raising this next generation with clarity, confidence, and faith.
Faith and Courage,
Lori
